A NEW LIFE: Subash Sharma came to New York from his native Bhutan in 1999.
Subash Sharma came to New York from his native Bhutan in 1999 as a political refugee. At the time, he only knew one other person in the city who hailed from his small South Asian country. That has changed dramatically in the last few years.
