The Union Square Holiday Market is bringing a little Brooklyn to Manhattan. The new “Lil’ Brooklyn” section of the market features items from the other side of the East River.

That’s not the only change at the outdoor market, now in its 18th year:  Shoppers can download a free app with an interactive map of all the vendors. The app – called “here.” – also offers shoppers discounts. The market is open through Christmas Eve.
