As unemployment has soared, many Americans with student-loan debt were concerned about how they would make monthly payments.

Then the federal stimulus bill passed in March deferred monthly payments on direct federal student loans, and temporarily set the interest rate to 0%.

Erika Wheless checked in on some folks about what life has been like without the payments.
