Carol Morrison was walking toward her home in Prospect Heights when she decided enough was enough with the rats.

There were so many on both sidewalks, she had to walk in the street.  There, she had to step over five dead rats, flattened by cars.

The social worker and artist became the engine behind the Prospect Heights Rat Task Force, which fights rats and connects neighbors dealing with them.
