Plumb Beach, a small, quiet stretch of sand right off the Belt Parkway in southern Brooklyn, has become a haven for a growing number of bird watchers.

The beach, which is not far from Floyd Bennet Field and sits across the Rockaway Inlet from Breezy Point in Queens, attracts fewer people than other popular bird-watching spots in the city like Prospect Park—making it perfect for social distancing.
