The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, one of the borough’s largest cultural institutions, is open again after a 19-month pandemic hiatus.

Many longtime supporters chose not to accept refunds when the center shut down in March 2020—a key factor that allowed the center to stage shows once again.
Another huge help: more than $760,000 in federal COVID-19 relief funds.
