MANHATTAN — More than 170 holiday shops selling crafts, artisans’ creations and other gift items ring in the season in Bryant Park as part of the Winter Village that runs through Jan 2.
We fanned out throughout the park to find out how businesses selling everything from handbags and handmade jewelry to clothing and giant assortments of sweet treats are doing after two years of pandemic restrictions.
Is business returning to normal? Are shoppers fearful about a recession? Are tourists returning to New York City ready to spend?
