BROOKLYN — Environmental organization NYC H2O and City Council Member Mercedes Narcisse teamed up to host a Canarsie Park cleanup event.
Around 20 volunteers from across the borough turned out to pick up trash from the park’s shoreline and nature trails.
More than 20 bags of garbage, a shopping cart of large discarded items and a container of used needles were collected.
