MANHATTAN —

Broadway has made a bold move—theatergoers will no longer have to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

The announcement from the Broadway League came even as shows are still canceling performances after cast and crew members test positive.

New York theaters were closed for more than a year before re-opening last summer with mask and vaccination mandates.

Caithlin Pena spoke with Broadway fans about the change in this video report.
