Bringing Relief to Coney Island
Brooklyn -
Volunteers brought much-needed goods to the storm-battered masses at a disaster relief center at Our Lady of Solace in Coney Island. The city designed the center as a one-stop shop for people in need after Hurricane Sandy. Residents can get food, clothing, find temporary housing and apply for city services.
