New York City has expanded protections for delivery-app workers, with new regulations aimed at giving them more information about assignments—and more control.
Third-party apps now will be required to disclose information such as pickup addresses, destination, tips and payments to delivery workers before their trips. Workers can then decide how far they are willing travel.
