NEW YORK CITY—Governor Kathy Hochul says a new program will award funding to over 100 organizations across the city to address food insecurity.
The New York Food for New York Families Program is going to award $40 million to groups to help increase access to local foods. Audio Files reporter Christian Nazario visited one of the last farmers markets for the season to find out what’s going on in the Bronx.
